Course Topics

The modules listed below make up the 36 hours of course work required for the “Administrative Aspects” certification. Certificates are awarded upon completion of all 40 class hours AND passing of the Administrative Aspects Certification Exam.

Exam Requirements
March 30, 2024 | 9:00am-11:00am (ET)

After attending the required 40 hours of classes, Code Enforcement officers must successfully pass an examination in order to receive certification in “Administrative Aspects of Code Enforcement.”

Hotel Information

A small block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Best Western Gateway Grand Hotel and Conference Center, 4200 NW 97th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606, with a special room rate of $107 per night for code officers. The cutoff date to reserve your room is Friday, Feb. 23rd or until the room block is sold out – so book early!!

 

Additional Information

REGISTRATION: You will be registering and paying for the class and the exam at the same time. AFTER you submit your registration form, you will receive an auto-generated email with a secure credit card payment link embedded within. After you click on the secure payment link, go to Certifications > FACE Certifications > and under Items, select the correct class. Registrations are confirmed only after payment is received which must be prior to the payment deadline of Friday, March 1, 2024.

REFRESHMENTS: Coffee will be provided in the morning but refreshments and lunch are on your own each day.

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION: You will receive a confirmation letter from the IOG at FSU upon registration and payment of CLASS & EXAM fees.

IMPORTANT POLICY NOTE: No person may attend F.A.C.E. training or take an exam if approved payment has not been made prior to the registration deadline.

REFUNDS: Must be requested in writing and received no later than the registration & payment deadline of Friday, March 1, 2024. Fees will be refunded less a $75.00 administrative charge. All monies are forfeited beyond this date. Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal or refund request.
