From Smallpox to Measles A Brief History of Vaccines with Rich Kessin, PhD.

The first effective vaccine, in 1799, was for smallpox, which ravaged Europe and North America. There were no new vaccines for 80 years. What took so long? Rich will explain the gap and the fierce battles that ended it. We will include some data and participants from Norfolk.
