The Social History of Medicine in 19th Century Canada

This two-part lecture series is intended as a primer to the social history of medicine and medical practice in 19th century North America, with an emphasis on Canada. The course will deal with medical maladies and causes of death faced by Canadians at that time and how medical practice and the training of doctors changed in the early 20th century.
