Preventing Violence, Promoting Health

At this briefing, speakers will describe how the perception of violence is evolving to one that addresses violence as a preventable public health problem and how communities across the United States and California are implementing cross-sectoral approaches to prevent violence before it occurs. Specific policy recommendations will also be discussed.
