The sources of suffering are karma and the mental afflictions. In Mind and Mental Factors, these mental afflictions and their antidotes are identified. First some general features of mind and mental factors are discussed, then specifically which mental factors must be abandoned and which should be adopted/developed to attain enlightenment.
