Project ImPACT Conference: Improving Sickle Cell Patient Adherence through Collaborative Teaching

Sickle cell disease is a devastating chronic illness that can be disabling and life-limiting. Researchhas demonstrated that frequency of pain crises, hospitalizations, and complications from this disease can be minimized with optimal adherence to disease-modifying medications and regular medical follow-up.
