  • Claiming the student rate: To claim the student rate, you must be a student as your primary activity and must be studying a CILIP accredited course.

  • Conference Dinner: If you are attending the conference for two days, dinner on Thursday evening is automatically included in the delegate fee. Please email contact@novusuk.com before registering if you would prefer to opt-out of the dinner. If you are attending the conference for only one day and would like to attend the dinner, you can purchase an Extra Dinner Pass via this registration form below. You may also bring a guest/partner to the dinner by purchasing Extra Dinner Passes below.

Organisation Information

  • For the purposes of the HLG Conference, a not-for-profit organisation is an organisation that does not earn profits for its owners and instead uses money earned or donated in pursuing the organisation's objectives. Typically not for profit organisations are, but not limited to, charities, voluntary organisations, academic institutions, community interest groups, social enterprises or other types of public service organisations. Generally, not for profit organisations can apply for a tax exempt status so that the organisation is not subject to most forms of taxation. In the instance of the HLG Conference, a commercial organisation will be classed in this respect as an organisation that cannot be described as not-for-profit using this definition.

Payment Options and Terms and Conditions

  • You may pay for your delegate place via this registration form by PayPal, Credit Card or Check (cheque) only. You can use PayPal to make a credit card payment even if you do not have a PayPal account.

  • If you prefer to be invoiced or to pay by BACS transfer, please tick the option to pay by Check and submit the form as normal. Then send an email request directly to: contact@novusuk.com. Please make sure your email contains all the details that need to be on your invoice. We will then process this automatically and you should receive an invoice within 1-2 weeks. If you need to set up the payment on your procurement systems before you can advise of a PO number, please note that the organisation to set up is HLG, not Novus.

  • Terms and Conditions - A refund, less a 20% administration fee, will be made if cancellations are received in writing, at least four weeks before the conference start date. We regret that any cancellations after this time or failure to attend the event cannot be refunded. However, substitutions of delegates can be made at any time. Please provide details of replacement delegates as soon as possible prior to the event to hlg2014delegates@novusuk.com.
