The Art of the Costume: Drawings of Selected Opera Costumes from Teatro di San Carlo

Europe’s oldest functioning opera house, the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, donated several of its priceless opera costumes to San Francisco’s Academy of Art University in May 2014. The costumes were immediately put to good use by AAU students, who made exquisite drawings of each other wearing them. Come and see the best of these drawings.
