13th Annual Durham MLK-Black History Month Parade is Feb. 7, 2015 @ 12 noon (Fayetteville St). This year’s theme, “We Shall Overcome…” & Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, Jr. is Grand Marshal. A lifelong activist, Dr. Chavis overcame racial injustice & wrongful imprisonment to become vocal leader in civil rights movement. Bands, floats, kids, dancers & more!
