Cross River Gorillas: Back from the edge of extinction

Concerted effort across Nigeria and Cameroon has improved the status of the Cross River gorilla including new PAs and local participatory approaches. Although still classified as critically endangered, the survival of the species is positive. WCS, NCZ and the USFWS, present their partnership and collective conservation achievements in the region.
