Scholar Dr. Barbara S. Christen will speak at 4:00 pm on the philanthropic legacies of Cass Gilbert, who designed many civic structures including the U.S. Supreme Court Building in Washington, D.C. After a Q&A, attendees may join Dr. Christen for a wine reception (5:30 pm, add'l fee applies) that opens an exhibit of Carol Highsmith photographs.
