Supporting Parents of Children with Disruptive Behaviors:RUBI Autism Network Parent Training Model
Many children with autism exhibit behavioral problems, including tantrums, noncompliance, aggression and self-injury. The research unit on behavioral interventions (RUBI) Autism Network developed a manualized parent training program to teach professional how to support families in using ABA techniques to manage disruptive behaviors.
