The Measurement and Conceptualization of Female Combatants

This interdisciplinary workshop brings together a broad range of scholars exploring the roles of women in international and civil conflicts, including women's participation as combatants in national militaries and armed rebel groups. It highlights new research on women’s participation in the ongoing conflicts in Turkey, Syria and Ukraine.
