I understand that the decision to participate in any event during the May 20, 2017 Safety-at-Sea Seminar ("Seminar") is my sole responsibility and not that of the Storm Trysail Club (STC), Storm Trysail Foundation (STF), or The Maritime College of the State University of New York (SUNY Maritime). In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Seminar, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims, actions, causes of action, and suits whatsoever, in law, admiralty, or equity against the STC, STF, SUNY Maritime and any affiliated companies, each of their officers, directors, employees, sponsors and agents (collectively as "Releases") resulting from or arising out of my participation in the Seminar.
Participants in the Seminar grant, at no cost, the STC, STF, and SUNY Maritime the absolute right and permission to use their name, voice, image, likeness, biographical material as well as representations of the boats in any media worldwide (being television, print and internet media), including video footage, for the sole purposes of advertising, promoting, reporting and disseminating information regarding the Seminar or future seamanship related activities.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Seminar reservations may be cancelled up until April 1st for a full refund. After April 1st, only cancellations based on emergency needs will be considered and refunds in those cases will be 50% of the admission fee.
