____Face Symposium at the UMD School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies

____Face is a day-long gathering of scholars and artists investigating the history of racial masquerade and its cultural reverberations. The day consists of two panels of invited speakers, a graduate student panel, and a moderated roundtable and scenes from Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company's production of Branden Jacobs-Jenkin's "The Octorooon."
