Nights Alive 2017

Nights Alive is a mini-camp for middle schoolers to explore wonders of the night. This year will focus on the Easter story; how God's love is the wide safety net under our darkest times. We'll stay up late and sleep late, engaging in all kids of night fun, bowling, water games, crafts and activities.

Necessary Information and Agreements

  • As the parent(s)/guardian(s) hereby release all affiliated advisers of Nights Alive, their sponsoring churches and Christ Lutheran Church, Nashville from any liability for injury. I also declare that this minor in my charge is in good physical condition and able to participate in these activities. In the event of illness or injury, I authorize the adult adviser to act in my/our behalf to seek medical treatment. Reasonable efforts will be made to reach parents prior to any treatment. This permission is valid for such a time as the minor is participating in Nights Alive and during travel to and from this event.

I, do hereby verify that the above information is correct and I do hereby release and forever discharge all participating entities and leaders from any and all claims, demands, actions, or cause of action, past, present, or future arising out of any damage or injury while at Nights Alive

  • Youth Covenant • RESPECT Be respectful at all times to all people, and to all places. This includes no fighting, weapons or fireworks. • BE NICE BE VERY NICE at all times, even when it is hard to BE NICE. • HAVE FUN! Having fun is good, so ROCK IT OUT, in a nice way. • GOOD ATTITUDE Always bring and have a GOOD ATTITUDE. • STAY IN GROUPS OF THREE The buddy system is good and THREE is never a crowd, the more the merrier. • DON’T STEAL No one likes it when people steal, so don’t do it. • EAT DESSERT It’s important too, especially eating chocolate dessert. • SOCIALIZE Even when you might not want to, socializing is good.

Transportation Information

  • YOUTH TRAVEL PERMISSION It is understood that a licensed responsible insured adult volunteer, 25 years or older, will provide transportation to and from the church to a designated service project or activity site. Insured Adult volunteer drives, 25 years or older, will use their personal vehicles to provide transportation for the youth and reasonable care and precautions will be taken at all times. We hereby recognize the inherent risk associated with the various youth activities and forms of travel, and agree to save and hold harmless any volunteer drivers, and all participating churches and their employees, volunteers, and agents from any liability or expense that may arise from my child’s participation and any travel related incidents going to and from such an event.

  • • Participation with the group during the service project is expected • I shall respect all property at the hosting church, the service project site, events sites and the vehicles we will be transported in. • I shall respect our peers, and all adult leaders and volunteers • I shall respect and comply with all event schedules
