International Conference on the Blues 2017
The 4th annual International Conference on the Blues at Delta State University will take place October 1-3, 2017. Topics of interest to scholars and enthusiasts will include the African American musical tradition and its influence on American music and culture, the Blues musical genre, folklore, history, ethnicity, and the Mississippi Delta.
