Art of Calligraphy (Fall 2017, Oct.-Nov.)

Calligraphy, a traditional art form with a five-thousand-year history, is a cultural symbol of China and an embodiment of Chinese philosophy. In this class, you will learn basic calligraphy techniques, write simple Chinese characters in standard script with brush, practice patience, and find a moment of tranquility.
