SHARE! Free Peer Specialist Certification Training

Learn the award-winning American Psychological Association techniques for delivering peer services that have produced measurable positive outcomes such as jobs and independent housing, while reducing hospitalization, incarceration and mental health symptoms. Peer applicants work full- or part-time in the public mental health system.

Commitment to Complete the Training

  • Peer Services 101, will be offered at SHARE! Culver City for peers or parent partners who wish to work in the public mental health system. TRAINING DATES --Friday Sept 8, Sat Sept 9, Friday Sept 22, Sat Sept 23, Friday Oct 6, Sat October 7 Fridays--11 am to 5:30 pm Saturdays 9 am to 3:30 pm TRAINING LOCATION --SHARE! Culver City 6666 Green Valley Circle Culver City 90230 TRAINER --Libby Hartigan, SHARE! Director of Training and Quality Assurance and Patrick Chavez, SHARE! Program Coordinator Downtown To earn a certificate, you must attend each class, complete homework assignments, conduct field investigations, attend three self-help support groups a week and pass a final examination.
