RI ASCE October Dinner Meeting on October 19, 2017

Erik Nelson, Principal, at Structures Workshop in Providence, RI, will present the talk titled, “The Forest and Wood Construction in the US”. He will describe wood production practices from the 1600s until now and how our relationship with the trees has changed, the industrialization of the wood process, why and where wood is developed.
