2018 Noyce Northeast Regional Conference

On behalf of SUNY Cortland and the University of Massachusetts Boston, we are pleased to host the 5th Noyce Northeast Regional Conference. We invite up to four individuals from each Noyce Program in the Northeast Region to register.

Improv session sign-up

  • *

    We are excited to be working with the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. Through improv techniques, they help teachers better communicate math and science. SUNY Cortland has worked extensively with the Alda Center and NYS Master Teachers. The 2.5-hour sessions are limited to 16. We will offer up to 10, five in the morning and five in the afternoon. The Alda Center will assign participants to the morning or afternoon sessions.

  • Sign-ups are limited and on a first-come basis. This is the only session that requires sign-up prior to the conference.

Travel notes

  • Conference attendees will receive conference lodging. You will not be responsible for making lodging reservations for the evening of Thursday, April 19 or Friday, April 20. If you plan to stay before or after these dates, please call the hotel directly and indicate you are with the Noyce NE Conference (conference rate of $229 is guaranteed two days before and after conference). You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements and will be reimbursed accordingly. (See event page for further rooming and travel information)
