Art History: Fakes, Forgeries and Frauds

Instructed by Barry Magrill, PhD. How do experts tell the difference between authentic art and fakes? Many famous forgeries purchased by museums show us just how complicated frauds can be. In this course we will have an opportunity to play art detective with some actual art objects, learning some simple hands-on techniques to create fakes.
