  • Conduct: All participants must exhibit professional decorum and sensitivity to the health care and university environment. This includes refraining from any audio, video or still photography of MUSC patients under any circumstances, or MUSC students, faculty and staff without prior permission. Failure to maintain decorum may result in loss of privileges at MUSC.

  • Confidentiality Statement: Confidentiality statements may be provided by MUSC to users upon entering the center.

  • Content: Participants understand that the Institute is the sole and exclusive owner of the Patient Centered Design Innovation Summit and all of its materials. Unless otherwise specified and accepted in writing, participants grant the Institute, and/or its partners, agents, assigns, the right to audio, video record and/or photograph them while participating in the educational and networking events for use in educational, promotional and other organizational use. Innovation sessions are intended to inspire all participants for the benefit of all attendees, and ultimately the benefit of patients and families. Participants should not share any confidential information during this event. The Institute reserves the right to document, publish or share design ideas or strategies that are discussed or developed during the events for the purpose of research, education and patient-centered design advocacy.

  • Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued; however, registrants may request to transfer their registration to another qualified attendee and no additional charge.

  • Personal Injury: Neither the Institute nor MUSC will be responsible for personal injury of participants. It is important to note that the simulation center is NOT a latex free environment, and to exercise caution around medical tools and equipment.
