  • This event is free of charge. During the two-part training, you will learn about the physics of animal sound communication and how to identify some bird species through recordings of their calls and songs. You will also learn how to use electronic sensors to record these sounds and online software to identify specific songs in these recordings. After completion of the training, volunteers will join the project monitoring at the Galbreath Preserve in Yorkville.
