The Every Student Succeeds Act: What is it? What does it mean for parent advocates?
The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) includes powerful opportunities for parent advocates to get good information about how their school is doing, and to be at the table as decisions are being made about how to improve schools, especially for low-income students, students of color, students with disabilities, and English learners.
