Wake, Orange, and Durham Counties have all passed sales tax referendums for transit improvements in the past years. These funds are now being put into action through the Durham-Orange Light Rail Project, Bus Rapid Transit and Transit Signal Priority projects in Chapel Hill and Raleigh.
