Climate Change: The Science, Uncertainty and Risk, 9/8/19 - 10/5/19

This module consists of foundational knowledge in the science of our changing climate, understanding the boundaries of “uncertainty” in future projections by the scientific community, how to translate the “risk” being faced by a community, business, or sector, the different concepts of climate resilience and solutions.

* Required information

  • In this course, participants will complete weekly lessons by working on learning activities on their own schedule during the week. These activities will involve reading, watching videos, responding to questions, posting in class discussions, small group work and more. In addition to this independent course work, participants will have the opportunity to interface with experts in the field during two 1-hour sessions scheduled for the second and third Wednesdays of the course from 6:30 - 7:30 pm EST
