Noise, Quietness, and the Healthy City: Workshop April 24th at NYU

Are you concerned about city noise and the lack of quietness? Join us for a free all-day workshop at NYU featuring talks, discussions, a soundwalk in the Village and more. Learn from the experts and find out what you can do to help lower the volume. Attend all or part of the day, but you'll need to RSVP. Space is limited.

  • Logistical Details: There will be a break in the program from 12-1pm to allow attendees to obtain lunch in the neighborhood. Participants for the soundwalk will meet at 1pm sharp at the Founders Memorial in the NYU Native Woodland Garden on the east face of the NYU Elmer Holmes Bobst Library.

  • Accessibility: This event will be accessible to people with hearing loss. Google Slides will be used to caption the program and FM listening devices will be available for those who wish to use a headset or wear a loop that will work with your hearing aid's t-coil.
