June 12 Luncheon - Grand Canyon’s Kaibab Trail Suspension Bridge

Dr. Jonathan Upchurch, PE, PTOE, Chair of ASCE Public Policy Committee, will present the history of the Kaibab Trail Suspension Bridge, constructed at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, in 1928. On February 23, 2019, the bridge was named by the American Society of Civil Engineers as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
