Friday, September 20, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Fort Davis Tour

Tour Fort Davis. Fort Davis is one of the best surviving examples of an Indian Wars' frontier military post in the Southwest. From 1854 to 1891, Fort Davis was strategically located to protect emigrants, mail coaches, and freight wagons on the Trans-Pecos portion of the San Antonio-El Paso Road and on the Chihuahua Trail.

Saturday, September 21 - 7:15pm - Star Party at the McDonald Observatory

Shuttle will leave at 7:15. The Star Party will begin at 8:30. Enjoy night sky constellation tours and views of celestial objects through a number of telescopes in the Rebecca Gale Telescope Park at the Frank N. Bash Visitors Center. This is a fun way to "map the stars!"
