Geotechnical Aspects of Bridge Design and Construction

Joe Smithson will be presenting geotechnical aspects of bridge design and construction. The geotechnical requirements necessary for good plan preparation of a structure will be discussed as well as the use of pile setup and surcharge loading that have successfully been implemented on several projects.
