Newtown Trolley Tour

Newtown Alive's trolley takes visitors on a two-hour tour of sites significant to Sarasota's African American community. Along the way, an R&B artist provides musical backdrop and sing-alongs, and community residents and elders come on board to add personal perspectives at several stops highlighting the community's history and cultural heritage.
