Recognizing and Mitigating Flood Risk

Jim Nadeau will present basic concepts and disconnects of the flood program, floods impact on value, lack of awareness of flood, political and regulatory obstacles, how structures are currently rated versus going to be rated in the future, and types of flood risk not mapped. City staff will join and discuss current efforts in planning.
