Remote Learning, Program Descriptions and Tuition

  • Due to the CORONA Virus and safety of our students and teachers, Religious Education will be done remotely by students in their homes. Parents of Elementary Students (Grades 1-5) have the choice between two programs and can select the one that best fits their family. Middle and High School students will continue using the programs that we have been using with at home work and online meetings. This year all students will complete the lessons at their own pace.

  • In the past we have charged a tuition of $100 per student. Knowing that families are under financial stress as the virus affects jobs and work hours, we have decided this year to not charge a fee. We ask instead that families consider a donation to help the parish support our important mission to educate our young parishioners in their faith.

  • Grades Pre-K and K Program will be Allelu: Allelu! is an early childhood program with innovations that make it easy to engage every child and build his/her faith! It will include online resources

  • Elementary Grades 1 - 5 Option 1 : Discover Program: continuation of the program our parish has been using for elementary grades. Each child receives a back pack with chapter pull outs and a Youth Bible. Parents receive access to online, interactive eLearning lessons with a master catechist. These lessons complement the program, not repeat it. Parents will love this self-directed experience for their kids.

  • Elementary Grades 1-5 Option 2: "Project Nazareth Faith Begins at Home" is a parent led, family based initiative that will deliver weekly resources to families with children ages 5 through 11. These resources will give parents suggestions for how to Pray, Listen, Act and Ponder a given topic throughout the course of each week. Guided by Sacred Scripture, using family based Lectio Divina and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Different series within Project Nazareth will explore the fundamental Gospel message, the Sunday Mass readings and other special topics such as the Year of the Eucharist.

  • Middle School Grades 6-7: Catholicism 101This eLearning course is an engaging and efficient way to help young people learn the essentials of the Catholic faith. Catholicism 101 has young people engage in interactive eLearning modules for self-directed learning, which then lead to catechist-led follow up sessions.

  • Middle School Grade 8: Theology of The Body for Teens Middle School program gives eighth graders the answers to their tough questions concerning their bodies, their sexuality, and their future. This program is implemented online with national speakers, student participation and overseen by the Director of Faith Formation.

  • Confirmation Prep Year 1 (9th Grade): Chosen: Your Journey Toward Confirmation - Chosenís carefully designed methodology features highly effective and engaging material including videos by twelve of the Church's top youth experts, student workbooks, and online group discussions.

  • Confirmation Prep Year 2 (10th Grade): Dynamic Catholic: Decision Point is a Confirmation program specifically developed to engage young Catholics in meaningful conversations based on videos featuring world renown speaker Matthew Kelly about the genius of Catholicism in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

  • Please register your children that attend Catholic School so we can keep them active in our database. We only ask that grade 10 parochial students pay a tuition fee to help with the expenses of the sacramental year. They will attend classes after the first of the year.
