Quilting Workshop: Decorative Machine Stitching

If you have a sewing machine with decorative stitches and you never use them, this class is for you!

* Required information

Required Materials List

  • 1 fat quarter, tone on tone or batik without a lot of defined pattern.

  • 1 18 x 22 piece of tear away stabilizer

  • 1 - 18x 22 piece of SF101 iron on stabilizer

  • Minimum is a spool of thread that is a contrasting color to your fat quarter fabric with wound bobbins.

  • Basic sewing tools, pins, scissors, seam ripper

Optional Materials List:

  • Variety of thread colors and types, embroidery, cotton, and different weights (if desired). Correct sized needles for the thread you bring.

  • 1/8 and Rick Rack (if desired)

  • Yarn for couching
