"June...teenth" Stands for More Than June Nineteenth, 1865

If this were a National Holiday, what would it need to stand for? (1) FREEDOM of the person from enslavement & its residual effects; (2) ABOLITION of institutions of slavery & their legacy; (3) FULL MEMBERSHIP & equal status in the civic order — steps to achieve social inclusion for African-Americans, only begun with the Emancipation Proclamation.
