Karen Grove received her PhD from Stanford and was a geoscience professor at San Francisco State. In retirement she is focused on the geology of the Pacific Northwest and teaches OLLI courses on geology and climate change. Her talk will explain the reasons behind the diverse landscapes in the Rogue Valley—a low valley surrounded by high mountains.
