Xeric Tallgrass Prairie Hike

Explore a globally rare tallgrass plant community at the foot of the Front Range in Boulder County Open Space. August is the height of growth for this grassland community. Lynn Riedel, Plant Ecologist with the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, will guide the hike, lead plant identification and educate on tallgrass prairie needs.
