A significant component of any City’s exterior lighting is its street lighting. In Los Angeles, with the move over the last decade to change out all of the City’s drop lens HID cobra heads to full cut-off LED, surely this has had a positive impact on light pollution in the region. Has this translated into noticeably less skyglow?
