Our King: African American Artists and the Iconic Champion for Civil Rights

Join the Museum as Mr. Demerson examines how Black painters and sculptors have depicted Martin Luther King Jr. during more than five decades since his assassination. The slide illustrated presentation places images of King in juxtaposition to quotations by the ardent activist for social change who challenged America's racial caste order.
