International Coastal Cleanup

• If you would like to volunteer to remove litter and debris from beaches and waterways throughout Martin County as part of our International Coastal Cleanup, we are here to help and provide you with all the information and supplies you need to ensure a safe cleanup!   All cleanup sites are given to volunteers on a first come first serve basis. Safe maximum volunteer quantities have been assigned to each site, and you may be contacted to switch your cleanup location if a site becomes full. If you are unsure where a certain cleanup site on our list is, please contact us at 772-781-1222 and we will help you find it.

Cleanup Supplies & Reporting

• Contactless supply pickup will be Friday, September 16, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at our KMB office (1211 SW Sunset Trail, Palm City). During this time volunteer group leaders can stop by to retrieve their groups supply packet as indicated on their registration. Packets will be clearly marked with each group name. If you are unable to pick up your supplies during this time, please contact us so that other arrangements can be made.

• We encourage groups to use supplies they may already have. By using your own, you are helping to cut down on waste. However, if you need supplies please indicate the quantity next to each supply below (supplies are limited).

• As you may already know, we have been encouraging volunteers to use the Clean Swell Reporting App since the Ocean Conservancy launched it two years ago. It captures your cleanup information in real time and helps to lessen our use of paper! Will your group be using the Clean Swell Reporting App this year?

• We are excited to provide volunteers with t-shirts! T-shirts will be provided to volunteers on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last. Please indicate the sizes and quantities of t-shirts you request for your group.
