Special Guest Lecture - Nainoa Thompson

Join VIMS for a very special lecture by our Scholar in Ocean Residency, Nainoa Thompson- a native Hawaiian navigator, CEO of the Polynesian Voyaging Society, and a leader in the traditional Polynesian art of non-instrumented navigation. He has helped lead canoe voyages throughout the global ocean guided only by stars, waves, winds, and marine life.
