Teacher Workshop: Honoring the 1963 March on Washington and Revisiting the Iconic Protest, 60 Years

March on Washington foot soldier, Edith Lee-Payne will share with us about her experiences as a young activist who was on the front lines on August 28, 1963, fighting for jobs and freedom. We will discuss the importance of creating and incorporating Oral History Interviews into classrooms, as primary sources that reveal incontrovertible truths.
