You are eligible if you have a simple tax situation with modest income $35,000 per year for singles $45,000 per year for couples ADD $2,500 per dependent. SIMPLE TAXES include income from: - Employment - Pension - Social assistance and support payments - Scholarships, bursaries or grants WE CANNOT FILE TAXES FOR: - Business income - Bankruptcy - Deceased persons - Expenses for self employed individuals Even if you have no income you may be eligible for benefits if you file with the CRA.

For Married / Common Law: It is recommended that full details for both individuals are provided, and both returns filed together. If only one tax payer is present, and/or partner's information is incomplete/unknown, the NET INCOME of the partner may be used to file Tax Payer's return. You will require your partner's Social Insurance Number to file together.
