Challenges with Large Diameter Foundation Elements

SFGI will be hosting a dinner presentation on the Challenges with Large Diameter Foundation Elements given by Silas C. Nichols of FHWA. The presentation will cover efforts to optimize drilled shaft design, evaluate design methodologies for large diameter open-ended pipe piles and update guidance for acceptance of large diameter foundation elements.
