Understanding NEW Paid Leave Mandates & One Day Rest in Seven Act Updates
Illinois employers need to be aware of two major changes to employment law. The Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act mandates paid leave for ALL employees for any reason beginning January 1, 2024. Additionally, recent amendments to Illinois’ One Day Rest in Seven Act became effective on January 1, 2023.
