Sacred Walk at the Monastery

You are invited to have a mini "pilgrimage experience" on the grounds and inside the monastery with Sister Marilyn Carpenter, OSB

                      Fee:$45           Walk-Ins pay an additional $5 more                                            Please bring your own lunch, lunch is not provided.

NOTE: We have a No Refund/No Transfer policy if you cancel. All Fees must be received before the day of the event or you are considered a Walk-In and have to pay the additional $5.00 - even though you have registered online. 

Retreat Description: Having made two pilgrimages: the first through the sacred sites of Ireland and then another through many cathedrals and sacred sites of Europe,including the labyrinth at Chartres, I have come to appreciate more clearly the sacred sites and pathways of our own Benet Hill forest area. I invite you to join me in a day of experiencing these sacred walks, glean gifts of an inner journey and share some of my learnings.  

NOTE: Each participant is to bring a backpack or day pack with the following items: a water bottle, walking shoes, a hat,  rain gear, a journal book or pages, pen and colored pencils  (I'll have extras), and YOUR LUNCH and MUNCHIES for the walks.  Be ready for surprises! 

 

Facilitator: Sister Marilyn Carpenter, OSB, MA Psych and BCC(retired) offers over thirty years of experience as a chaplain, grief education/counselor and teacher. With a degree in Theology, Sister Marilyn employs Theology, Sister Marilyn employs her skills in creative rituals and experiences in all her retreats. smarilyn@benethillmonastery.org
