Leesburg Fla. (January 2, 2015) – If zipping across the sky in a airplane that twists, turns and dives fuels an adventurous spirit, then Mercy Flight Southeast (http://www.MercyFlightSE.org) has just the ticket.

The non-profit organization is raffling off a chance to fly aboard an AeroShell AT-6 Texan during the team’s performance at Sun ‘N Fun International Fly-in and Expo, at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (KLAL), Florida, in April.

PilotMall.com donated the flight to benefit Mercy Flight Southeast which arranges free flights for children and adults who need life-saving, far-from-home medical care.

Since 1985, the AeroShell Aerobatic Team (www.naat.net) has been thrilling millions of spectators at air shows across North American with awe-inspiring formation aerial maneuvers. The North American “Texan,” nicknamed “The Pilot Maker,” was introduced in 1938 and went on to become the primary training platform for all U.S. combat pilots during WWII.

 The Raffle prize includes a:

  • A seat on an AeroShell AT-6 “Texan” during the team’s scheduled Sun ‘N Fun performance on April 25, 2015.
  • Round trip airfare, up to $500 to Orlando, Florida.
  • Photo with AeroShell team and aircraft.

Raffle tickets are $20 for 1 chance; $100 for 6 chances and $200 for 13 chances to win. The winner will be announced April 4, 2015 at the Run for the Angels 5K Run at Orlando Executive Airport.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online at http://www.MercyFlightSE.org/events or by calling (352) 326-0761. Entrants need not be present at the drawing to win.
