It's an event you won't want to miss!

The Performers

Philadelphia's only taiko drumming ensemble Kyo Daiko will astonish you with their beautiful, heart-pounding show. A community-based group, they show an incredible array of performers from all walks of life and corners of Philadelphia.

And don't miss SEAMAAC's Hip Hop Heritage performers. Our after-school program teaches the history and community-building elements of hip hop, including deejaying, graffiti and - most importantly - breakdancing. It is the final element that will be highlighted at the Gala. And they are sure to impress.

A silent auction will be running all night featuring the artwork of local and nationally recognized artists, including Tomie Arie, Terry Boddie, Yong Soon Min, Rea Tajiri, Juan Sanchez, and Philadelphia's beloved muralist, Isaiah Zagar as well as many others. The complete list is feautured on the lefthand column.
We are also honored to say that JJ Tiziou, of illustrious How Philly Moves fame, will be there, photographing the event. So exciting!

This Just In!
We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the Gala's festivities: Philadelphia's own Oscuro Quintet will be performing their beautiful pieces throughout the night.

An international group of 5 accomplished musicians and Philadelphia's first tango music ensemble, the quintet evokes the passion and the grace of tango from dance floors to concert halls with a mind toward both the music of the past and the vanguard of progression.

They are sure to amaze you - and make you wish you had brought your dancing shoes!
