**** State of the City 2018 **** 

The League of Women Voters of the Austin Area invites you to our 26th annual State of the City dinner, Wednesday, March 7. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Our speaker is Sally Hernandez, Travis County Sheriff.

We will present our Making Democracy Work awards to League Volunteers of the Year: Mollie Snow, JoAnn McKenzie, Hal Jennings and Dixie Davis; to Democracy in Action winner Kassie Barroquillo of the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life; and to Friend of the League Bob Gregory of Texas Disposal Systems, all of whom support LWV-AA efforts to increase voter registration and civic engagement.

Ticket prices are $100 for each member, and $125 for each non-member. Get your tickets by February 28th. 

Includes dinner, cash bar, live auction, silent auction, and parking.  Contact us if you have any food restrictions.
